Who needs a Grammy...when you could have a Goodie.

The first ever GoodTube Goodie awards. The Goodies awards innovation in humanitarian web videos.

The first 200 videos submitted to GoodTube by a verified 501(c)(3) organization will be entered to win one of four Goodies. The twenty videos with the highest ratings and most views will be submitted to the GoodTube panel of judges.

The judges will then select the best video for each category:

  • Best overall video (most views and highest rated video on GoodTube)
  • Most creative
  • Best cinematography
  • Best song

Winners will be announced June 1 on GoodTube. The winner in each category will receive:

  • $1,000 grant for your organization
  • Featured spot on GoodTube for the month of June
  • Goodie statue image to display on your site
  • Bragging rights

1. Entering Contests and Choosing and Contacting Winners

Entrants must complete all the required information on the GoodTube organization application to be considered. GoodTube is not responsible for and will not consider incomplete or incorrect entries.

Winners of all contests will be contacted at the email address associated with your GoodTube account . GoodTube will mail the contest prize to the address specified in your GoodTube registration form, GoodTube will not send any prizes until contact has been made with a person in your organization.

Claiming of prizes requires an email response or phone response to GoodTube from the winning organization within 30 days of being notified of winning. Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize. GoodTube is not required to award elsewhere any prizes forfeited by the chosen winner(s).

2. Submission of video content for Contests

Entries selected for display and to win a Goodie and any other contests requiring video from the entrants will be judged entirely at the discretion of GoodTube.

By submitting any photo or information to GoodTube, you hereby grant to GoodTube and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees and assigns, an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish and otherwise make use of the submitted video or other information associated with the video, whether now known or hereinafter created, throughout the world and for any purpose. In addition to other things, the rights granted to GoodTube includes but is not limited to the right to resize, crop, censor, compress, edit, feature, caption, affix logos to, and to otherwise alter or make use of the submitted video;

By submitting any video or information to GoodTube, you hereby represent and warrant that the submitted photo or information does not and shall not infringe on any copyright, any rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party, and you have the right to grant any and all rights and licenses granted to GoodTube herein, including but not limited to all necessary rights under copyright, free and clear of any claims or encumbrances;

You acknowledge and agree that GoodTube shall have no obligation to post, display or otherwise make publicly available any video or information submitted by you, and may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, remove, edit, modify or delete any information that you submit to GoodTube;

You understand and intend that any video submitted by you to GoodTube may be available for viewing, rating, review and comment on by the public, and understand that comments or ratings with which you disagree or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with any video you submit to GoodTube. By submitting any video to GoodTube, you hereby waive any privacy expectations that you may have with respect to any such video submitted by you to GoodTube.

You hereby agree to hold GoodTube and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees sponsors and assigns harmless from and against, and hereby waive any right to pursue, any claims of any nature arising in connection with the inclusion in, publication via or display on GoodTube.org, or any other use authorized under these Terms, of any video submitted to GoodTube by you;\

Videos submitted by you to the GoodTube.org shall be the property of GoodTube, and GoodTube shall have no obligation to preserve, return or otherwise make available to you or others any videos submitted by you.

3. Awarding Prizes

Winners are solely responsible for all taxes and/or fees that may be incurred. Prize money given in the form of a grant may only be awarded to a verified 501 (c)3 organizations. If the information given to GoodTube for the purpose of verification of your organizations tax status, is false or fraudulent your organization will no longer be eligible to receive the prize. Winner may forfeit any and all winnings if verification cannot or has not been made within 30 days. Upon proper verification, grant money will be awarded by check, and mailed to organization mailing address within seven (7) business days.

Each prizewinner must supply GoodTube with the organizations legal name , mailing address, organization telephone numbers, Tax ID number and email address.

Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings. All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, and all such additional costs that may be incurred.

Neither GoodTube, GoodTube sponsors, nor employees of GoodTube may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of any winners of a prize once possession has been taken of the product by winner. GoodTube is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with or resulting from any contest promoted by GoodTube.

If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, GoodTube may substitute a prize of like or equal value.

Management, employees and families of GoodTube are prohibited from winning any prizes awarded by GoodTube.
